Delhi Ladli Scheme:
Eligibility conditions for financial assistance:
For girl children born on or after 01.01.08
- i) The applicant must be a bonafide resident of the National Capital Territory of Delhi for at least three years preceding the date of application; ii) The girl child must have been born in Delhi as shown by the birth certificate issued by Registrar (Births & Deaths).
iii) The annual income of the parents of the child should not exceed Rs. 1,00,000/-;
For all other girl children in Delhi :
- i) Who are currently studying in a Govt./MCD/NDMC or Govt. recognized school in Delhi,
- ii) Who were born in Delhi as shown by the birth certificate issued by Registrar (Births & Deaths),
iii) Who have been admitted in Classes I, VI, IX, or XII or passed Class X in the academic year 2008-09 onwards,
- iv) Whose parents have been residing in Delhi for at least 3 years before the date of application,
- v) Whose parents’ income is less than Rs. 1,00,000/- per annum,
- vi) All such girl children shall receive payments of Rs. 5,000/- in the form of long-term fixed deposits.
vii) The above-mentioned deposits shall be encashable only after the child attains 18 years and has passed Class X as a regular student or has taken admission in Class XII.
How to apply for Delhi scholarships list 2022:-
- An application for financial assistance under these rules shall be submitted to the Competent Authority, which may be obtained from the office of the Competent Authority or the office of the Deputy Director (FAS), Department of Social Welfare, G.L.N.S. Complex, Delhi Gate, New Delhi or electronically downloaded from official website http://www.wcddel.in/ladli.html
- The parents of the girl child shall apply within one year from the date of birth of the child or 90 days from the date of admission, as applicable. However, District Social Welfare Officer shall be the competent authority to relax the above time limit depending on the merits of the individual cases.
- The following documents shall be attached with the application: –
- A copy of ration card or voter identity card or any other document as proof of residence, which clearly shows at least 3 years of residence in Delhi; b. The birth certificate of the girl child issued by the Registrar (Births and Deaths) of National Capital Territory of Delhi;
- A joint photograph of the parents and the girl child should be pasted on the application form;
- A self-declaration by the parents regarding their annual income.
- Admission certificate from Govt./MCD/NDMC or Govt. recognized school.
Free supply of stationery to SC / ST / OBC / Minorities students in schools
Financial assistance is provided for the purchase of stationery to SC/ST/ OBC/Minorities students of 6th to 8th class studying in Govt. of India/GNCT of Delhi/Aided recognized schools. Family income should not exceed Rs. 1.00 lakh P.A.

Delhi Merit Scholarship for SC / ST / OBC / Minorities
- Students studying in class VI to XII in Central Govt /Govt. of Delhi/ Aided/ Recognized/Local bodies schools are eligible.
- The family income limit is not applicable in the case of SC/ST students. But family income should not exceed Rs. 1.00 lakh per annum in the case of OBC and minorities students. 3. A student is allowed to avail the scholarship either under the State Plan Scheme or Centrally Sponsored Scholarship Scheme, whichever is beneficial to him/her, and should inform the awarding authority through the Head of the Institution by mode of a declaration”.
- After the launch of Mission Convergence, this scheme is being implemented by Education Department except in recognized public schools/ Kendriya Vidyalaya and schools under MCD/NDMC/DCB w.e.f. Annual Plan 2008-09.

delhi scholarship list 2022 Reimbursement of tution fees for SC / ST / OBC / Minorities students
The SC/ST/OBC/Min. students studying in Ist to Vth will be entitled to get reimbursement of tuition fees and other compulsory fees irrespective of the percentage of marks. But in the case of students studying in VI to XIIth class, tuition and other compulsory fees will be reimbursed to only those students scoring 50% & above marks and having attended not less than 80% in the preceding year.
The reimbursement is 100% to the students whose family income does not exceed Rs.60000/- per annum. In case, students whose family income is more than Rs.60000/- and below Rs.1.00 lakh per annum, 75% of the fee will be reimbursed.

Delhi Scholarship Scheme 2022 for stipends to physically handicapped students
The Delhi Administration grants stipends to the Physically Handicapped Students under the Physically Handicapped Students Rule, 1976. Under the scheme monetary assistance is provided to the blind, deaf, and orthopedically handicapped students who are studying in classes I to VIII in Govt. recognized school in Delhi.
The handicapped students who secure up to 55% marks and whose parents/guardians’ income does not exceed Rs.500/- per month are eligible to be under the scheme. The students securing more than 55% marks and whose guardians/parents’ income is below Rs.1000/- per month are also eligible for the assistance.

- ii) The SC/ST/OBC/Minority students getting stipend from the institutions/ Government during the course of study are also eligible to get the merit scholarship. iii) Only those SC/ST/OBC/Minorities students are eligible who will obtain 60% or more marks in previous examination and get admission in recognized college/professional/technical institutions.
- iv) Scholarship will be granted to students of 3 year degree courses, post graduate studies at college level and professional courses of degree and post graduate level and diploma studies. The duration of the professional course may vary from course to course.
- v) There shall be no limit for the income of the applicant/parents/guardians for grant of scholarship in respect of SC/ST students. However, family income limit of Rs. 1,00,000/- p.a. is applicable for the OBC/ Minorities community.
- vi) Students should have SC/ST/OBC/Minorities certificate issued by the competent authority of Delhi i.e. Deputy Commissioner, Delhi. vii) The rate of scholarship will be reduced to 50% if a student failed in the annual examination, but continues studies except in cases where the student failed to appear in the annual examination on medical grounds or due to natural calamities or any other reason beyond his/her control.

Dr. B. R. Ambedkar State Award to SC / ST / OBC / Minorities students
- i) The student must have passed his/her 10th and 12th class from Delhi.
- ii) The award is given to a student, who tops among the SC/ST/OBC/Minorities in each discipline of the professional/Technical degree course. iii) The topper student is awarded only once after passing out of the final examination of the course. d. The award is conferred among the toppers of all professional/ technical courses.

Pre Exam coaching for SC / ST / OBC / Minority students
- The Eligible candidate under SC/ST/OBC/Minority Category whose parent total income including their own income from all sources does not exceed Rs. 3.00 Lakhs. 2. Residing of Delhi for last five years
- Have not taken two times coaching from this centre or any Govt. of India aided centre for any examination/posts/entrance test.
